AECOM tasked JMI to design, develop and implement a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) initiative with a goal of achieving a 30% MBE spend on a $150 million capital construction project. AECOM relied on JMI to facilitate the identification of leading subcontractors for work fulfillment. The project’s outcomes included strategic sourcing and supply chain management, a supplier development database, training seminars, and metrics for monitoring project progress and compliance. And that 30% MBE goal was exceeded!
